I am not going to write about the fashion trends; who wear what, when and where, etc. Only because there are sooo maaany specialized blogs on the topic that mine would only add to the Internet clutter....
Although I do have a formal education in fashion at a quite famous NY school I came to realize that my interest lies on the business side (of it), but only after I consumed (and I still do it!) tones of fashion material (such as writings, photos, shows, talk-shows, junk, more junk, even more junk, etc., etc., etc.).
Yet, in any regard, I have my fashion "icons". And hilariously enough, one of them is Tilda Swinton who has been largely criticized for her lack of fashion style (!?). Now, as always, it all depends who you're talking with...just about with any other subject....right?
If you ask me, I endorse her and her fashion sense!

I see her as authentic (as in real), unique, highly sophisticated, intelligent, sexy, college educated (quite rare in the industry), opinionated, and as someone who doesn't play by the Hollywood rules. Oh, actually far from it! With the exception of some of her political views, mostly from the past, which I DO NOT endorse!
Yet, this girl has always work... she' s always cast...whereas, as a matter of fact, not being augmented, retouched and metamorphosed therein a Hollywood star must be.
Oh, and the cherry on the cake: she is a damn a good actress (like they say on TCM)!
